(b) If the use of a nonconforming advertising sign structure is discontinued or its normal <br /> operation stopped for a period of twelve six-months, the structure shall be removed by the <br /> owner or lessor at the request of the city council. <br /> (Code 1982, 5 900.34(6); Ord.
