Council consensus was <br /> to solicit RFPs to complete the work by the end of the year as required. Staff posted the RFP on the city <br /> website and on the League of Minnesota Cities website. <br /> Proposals for professional services to update the existing SWPPP as required by the MS4 General Permit <br /> and draft the City's SWMP were received on August 8, 2013. The four proposals received with cost <br /> details follow: <br /> Firm Consultant Fee <br /> HydroMethods,LLC $21,534 <br /> WSB &Associates, Inc. $26,500 - $29,800 <br /> Bolton&Menk,Inc. $56,552 <br /> HDR Engineering, Inc. $565750 <br /> A staff committee consisting of Justin Femrite, Rebecca Haug,Jeremy Barnhart and myself reviewed the <br /> proposals. Upon review and discussion the committee recommends awarding the project to WSB & <br /> Associates, Inc. Their expertise on the subject,history of successfully completing similar projects,and <br /> proposed fee,make them the best value for the project. Staff supports awarding this work to WSB & <br /> Associates, Inc. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> This action will have a total financial range of$26,500 to a not to exceed amount of$29,800.
