Special City Council Minutes Page 3 <br />August 10, 1998 <br /> <br />Pat Klaers indicated notices will be sent to the residents advising them of a <br />meeting with the Council on Monday, August 24, 1998. The Councilmembers <br />requested that Laurie Mezra-Kerr attend this meeting if possible. <br /> <br />Councilmember Farber arrived at this time (5:37 p.m.) <br /> <br />Semi Tractor Ordinance <br />Pat Klaers indicated an updated nuisance ordinance will be presented later in <br />the year. One of the issues to be addressed is parking of semi tractors and <br />trailers on platted property, residential metes and bounds subdivisions, and <br />parcels of five acres or less in all residential zones and the A1 zone. Pat noted <br />that any changes in the this part of the ordinance will impact a number of local <br />truckers and the issue may be controversial. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren asked that staff inspect the property at Gates and <br />School Street for possible code violations. <br /> <br />5.
