In the Preliminary Plat
the Trott Brook Trail is not shown to be accessible from Street 0 or County
Road 12. Ed Hasek, of Westwood Engineering, says the grading plan will
show how the Trott Brook Trail will be accessible from Street O. The Trott
Brook Trail connection has been moved further to the East to a point visible
from County Road 12 adjacent to a townhouse driveway. This trail ending
does not directly connect to County Road 12 and is to be considered
temporary. The developer and planning staff concur that a better connection
would be to the East of the plat in future development, where the Trott Brook
runs closest to the County Road 12 and where the connection is not stuck
between townhomes. Eventually, the trail corridor will extend to the East
and parallel County Road 12.

Outlot F

Outlot F is being donated to the City, however it is not considered as part of
the park dedication. The area is approximately 23 acres of wetland and some
upland oak forest. This area may be used as passive recreation, however it is
difficult to access. This parcel will require an access corridor for pedestrians
and maintenance vehicles (see Phil Hals memo). Creation of an access

13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
