Brown, P.E., Vice President Environmental Division <br /> Summary <br /> Education <br /> Master of Science-Sanitary Engineering Mr.Brown is Vice President of Bolton&Menk,Inc. and is responsible for <br /> Iowa State University the technical supervision and management of the Environmental Division. He <br /> began the practice of engineering in 1973 and has extensive experience in the <br /> Bachelor of science-Civil Engineering planning and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment <br /> South Dakota state University facilities,water pilot testing studies,construction management of water and <br /> Master of Business Administration- <br /> wastewater facilities,design of computerized control systems for water and <br /> Minnesota State University <br /> wastewater systems, and civil construction work.Mr.Brown has successfully <br /> managed over 100 water and wastewater planning,design and construction <br /> Certiticate-U.S.Army Engineering School projects during the last five years. <br /> U.S.Army Command&General Staff Experience <br /> College <br /> Wastewater Projects <br /> Registration Mr.Brown has completed over 75 wastewater treatment-planning studies. <br /> Professional Engineer,Minnesota, The recommendations of these studies have resulted in the implementation <br /> Iowa,Kentucky,West Virginia, of a variety of wastewater treatment improvements.Mr.Brown's municipal <br /> Wisconsin,Virginia,Tennessee, and industrial treatment design experience includes mechanical treatment <br /> Montana,South Dakota,North facilities, stabilization pond facilities,industrial pretreatment facilities,land <br /> Dakota,and Idaho application systems, and biosolids treatment facilities.These projects ranged <br /> from treating a population equivalent of 200 to over 200,000.Mr.Brown has <br /> Organizations also been the Project Manager for the design five biosolids dryer projects, <br /> American society of Civil Engineers including the Biosolids Dryer and Energy Recovery System for the City of <br /> American water works Association Buffalo, MN. This project is the first installation of a belt dryer with an energy <br /> recovery system in the United States. In addition,Mr.Brown has supervised <br /> Midwest Food ProcessorsAssociahon,Inc. design and implementation of Class A biosolids treatment technologies <br /> including ATAD,RDP and heat drying.Mr.Brown's experience also includes <br /> Midwest Rural Water Association regional wastewater treatment facilities,on-site wastewater treatment systems, <br /> Minnesota Municipal Utilities <br /> construction management services,regulatory agencies,permitting and <br /> Association <br /> coordination,user rate analysis,pilot plant studies, and the development of <br /> public information programs. <br /> Minnesota Society of Professional <br /> Water Projects <br /> Engineers <br /> Mr.Brown's water related projects include the planning,design and <br /> Minnesota Turkey Growers Association construction management of over 100 water treatment facilities,ground water <br /> and surface water supplies,water storage facilities and distribution systems.Mr. <br /> Minnesota wastewater operators Brown's water treatment experience includes the designs of gravity,pressure <br /> Association and reverse osmosis facilities.These facilities range from 200,000 gallons per <br /> National Society of Professional day to over 7.5 million gallons per day and include both ground water and <br /> Engineers <br /> surface water treatment facilities.The water storage facilities that Mr.Brown <br /> has designed range from 100,000 gallons to 1,000,000 gallons.Mr.Brown's <br /> The Society of American Military experience also includes the development of ground water and surface water <br /> Engineers supplies,construction management services,regulatory agencies permitting and <br /> coordination,water distribution system analysis,user rate analysis,pilot plant <br /> Water Environment Federation studies, and the development of public information programs. <br /> 1 <br />
