"MRWA provides excellent (and affordable) training, technical assistance, and educational opportuni- ties for many small systems that would otherwise lack adequate operation and maintenance programs, requiring additional funding for aging and potentially failing infrastructure. Our cityhas directly benefitted from MRWA by sending our operators to training conferences and equipment expos. Groups such as MRWA and others like them are excellent examples of responsible and efficient governmental funding getting to those who need it at the frontline.
