Our involvement <br />means that rather than just reacting <br />to the transportation needs in our <br />community, we have a chance to plan <br />for them in advance and create the <br />kind of future we want." <br /> <br />Member <br />Lewis Stark <br /> <br />· The Northstar Corridor is the fastest growing corridor <br />in Minnesota and one of the fastest in the country. <br /> <br />· The Twin Cities metro area is expected to add 25 <br /> percent more jobs and 33 percent more households <br /> by 2020. <br /> <br />· The average Twin Cities driver is stuck in traffic for <br /> the equivalent of three full working days a year. <br /> <br />· Growth in other communities along the corridor <br /> is also expected to explode by 2020 - 37 percent in <br /> Anoka, 72 percent in Sherburne County, 232 <br /> percent in Elk River, and 402 percent in Becker. <br /> <br /> <br />
