Ms.King <br /> explained that there are enough nationwide resources available to keep the national <br /> information current but that it is the local responsibility to keep local information current. <br /> She added that the website vendor updates the state information annually. <br /> 6. Disposition of EDA Property—Outlot A,Northstar Business Park <br /> Mr.Barnhart presented the staff report. <br /> President Tveite opened the public hearing.There being no one to speak,President Tveite <br /> closed the public hearing. <br /> MOVED BY COMMISSIONER DWYER AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER MOTIN TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 13-02 AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ECONOMIC <br /> DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND PROVO ENTERPRISES, LCC.MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. Commissioner Provo abstained. <br /> 7. Energy Efficiency Improvement Program Microloan Application Soul Coffee Shop and <br /> Fitness Studio <br /> Ms. Fischer presented the staff report. <br /> Commissioner Motin provided an update on the EDA Finance Committee meeting.He <br /> explained some of the concerns of the Committee. <br /> MOVED BY COMMISSIONER DWYER AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER WILSON TO DENY THE REQUEST BY SOUL COFFEE <br /> SHOP AND FITNESS STUDIO FOR AN ENERGY EFFICIENCY LOAN AS <br /> RECOMMENDED BY THE EDA FINANCE COMMITTEE. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> Commissioner Motin asked for staff direction relating to a loan amount that should be <br /> available for energy efficiency purposes.President Tveite suggested checking with other <br /> communities to see if they have similar programs. Consensus was for this item to be <br /> reviewed by the EDA Finance Committee for a recommendation. <br /> 8. Update on Economic Development Director Hire <br /> Ms. Fischer stated that four applicants will be interviewed for the economic development <br /> director position. She stated that HRA Commissioner Toth expressed interest in <br /> participating in interviews and questioned if any of the EDA members are interested in also <br /> participating. She stated she will send the EDA Commissioners an email outlining interview <br /> dates and times. <br /> 9. Announcements <br /> President Tveite officially welcomed Commissioner Wilson to the EDA. <br /> Ms. Fischer acknowledged Jeremy Barnhart as the new community operations and <br /> development deputy director. She stated that Mr.Barnhart will be assisting her with <br /> overseeing economic development,planning,and some environmental areas. <br />
