CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> RESOLUTION NO. I <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> TO CHANGE THE LAND USE <br /> FROM HIGWAY BUSINESS (HB) TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL(I-I) <br /> Case No. LU 13-02 <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes,Chapter 462.355,Subdivision 2,prescribes the procedure for <br /> amending the Comprehensive Plan,and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 12, 2013 and <br /> recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for <br /> the property generally described as: <br /> Lot 2,Block 1,ELK RIVER CROSSING SIXTH ADDITION, <br /> Sherburne County,Minnesota <br /> And as shown on Exhibit A attached;and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request and <br /> finds the following: <br /> 1. The current use of the site is consistent with Light Industrial uses. <br /> 2. The land use is consistent with the surrounding land uses. <br /> 3. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses. <br /> 4. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted Comprehensive Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that the <br /> Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as described above from Urban Residential to <br /> High Density Residential. <br /> Passed by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 18th day of March,2013. <br /> John J.Dietz,Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Tina Allard,City Clerk <br />
