CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Elk River recognizes the need to modernize and <br /> update its Wastewater Treatment methods and has identified future capacity problems of its existing <br /> Wastewater Treatment Facility, and <br /> WHEREAS,Bolton &Menk, Inc. has been retained as Consulting Engineers to prepare a <br /> Wastewater Treatment Facility Plan for the purpose of submitting such plan to the Minnesota Pollution <br /> Control Agency, and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council in and for the City of Elk River, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby adopt the proposed Elk River Wastewater Treatment <br /> Facility Plan as presented by Bolton &Menk, Inc. as Consulting Engineers. <br /> 2. That the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to submit the City's <br /> Wastewater Treatment Facility Plan to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for review <br /> and approval. <br /> Said resolution was duly seconded by Council member and put to a vote. <br /> Voting in favor thereof were Council Members , and <br /> Mayor . Voting against said resolution- Motion carried. <br /> Approved this_day of March, 2013. <br /> John Dietz,Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Calvin Portner, City Administrator <br />
