John Fegas with the City of Ramsey gave an update on the <br />City's Town Centre joint development project. Paul Ostrow praised the City of Ramsey for <br />the work they've done. Beverley Miller of the Mitmesota Valley Transit Authority <br />(MVTA) gave a presentation on their joint development project for transportation in the <br />Mitmesota Valley area. She noted that the MVTA project is a joint powers agreement <br />between five cities. <br /> <br />Community Involvement: <br />a) All Aboard Celebration: <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br /> Chair Grandy noted that the All Aboard Celebration was a <br />huge success. <br />Businesses: Jeff Dehler noted that progress has been made on getting businesses to <br />sign up in support of the NCDA project. <br />Citizens: John Himle gave a recap of recent public infbrmation abtivities fbcusin~, on <br />reaching out to citizens. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Hiawatha Tour: December 4, 2003: Tim Yantos noted that staff are working on <br />scheduling the December 4, 2003 NCDA meeting to take place in Minneapolis following a <br />tour of the Hiawatha LRV project. Tim Yantos asked how many NCDA members would <br />be available to attend the tour and the NCDA meeting on the 4th of December if held in <br />Mirmeapolis. Mr. Yantos noted that staff would be in contact to finalize tour and meeting <br />logistics. <br /> <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
