Mayor Dietz to open and close public hearing. 2. Adopt by motion resolution ordering the improvement and preparation of plans and specifications for the 2013 Street Improvement project. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION This item is scheduled for a public hearing. WSB &Associates will present the proposed improvements. They will provide an overview the project, similar to the presentation from January 7, 2013, feasibility report. An open house was held for all residents along the project on December 13, 2012. At the open house, staff was available to answer questions related to the proposed improvements. Upon conclusion of the presentation,the Mayor should open the public hearing to take comment on the improvements. Upon considering the comments received at the hearing, staff will ask the City Council to adopt the attached resolution that orders the improvement and authorizes the preparation of plans and specifications. FINANCIAL IMPACT The estimated project costs have been detailed in the attached feasibility report. No expenditures above previously approved engineering fees are required with the adoption of the attached resolution.
