Mayor Dietz to open and close public hearing. <br /> 2. Adopt by motion resolution ordering the improvement and preparation of plans and specifications <br /> for the 2013 Street Improvement project. <br /> BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION <br /> This item is scheduled for a public hearing. WSB &Associates will present the proposed improvements. <br /> They will provide an overview the project, similar to the presentation from January 7, 2013, feasibility <br /> report. An open house was held for all residents along the project on December 13, 2012. At the open <br /> house, staff was available to answer questions related to the proposed improvements. <br /> Upon conclusion of the presentation,the Mayor should open the public hearing to take comment on the <br /> improvements. Upon considering the comments received at the hearing, staff will ask the City Council to <br /> adopt the attached resolution that orders the improvement and authorizes the preparation of plans and <br /> specifications. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT <br /> The estimated project costs have been detailed in the attached feasibility report.
