RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING <br />CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE <br />CITY OF <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and individuals for <br />their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, The Bank of Elk River has sponsored the Riverfront Concert Series since it began in <br />2007 and has been the sole sponsor for the past four years; and <br />WHEREAS, The Bank of Elk River's donation also provided financial support for downtown <br />events such as the Farmers Market, Chalk- It -Up, Geocaching, and Kidstock Special <br />Events; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River recognizes The Bank of Elk River for proactively supporting <br />and contributing to civic and municipal causes; and <br />WHEREAS, the city recognizes The Bank of Elk River for encouraging and supporting its <br />employees in volunteering and dedication to the conitnunity; and <br />WHEREAS, The Bank of Elk River's generous financial support and leadership is a proud <br />example of true community banking services; and <br />WHEREAS, the city is grateful for The Bank of Elk River's demonstrated integrity, dedication <br />and loyalty in supporting our community by helping to provide free quality <br />entertainment; and <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River to <br />acknowledge the generous financial support and commend The Bank of Elk River for their <br />community focus, good corporate citizenship and leadership. <br />Passed and adopted this 22nd day of January 2013. <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />John J.
