Manufacturers Week—October 22—28.2012 <br /> Mr.Wilfahrt provided an update on Manufacturers Week activities in Elk River. <br /> President Tveite indicated that Elk River is very fortunate to have good quality <br /> manufacturers which help to create a stable job base. <br /> Commissioner Provo commented that it is a good idea for EDA members to stay involved <br /> because manufacturers are overlooked in many communities. He stated speaking as a <br /> manufacturer,he appreciates the city's efforts in reaching out and getting manufacturing <br /> facilities involved in recruiting talented workers. <br /> 7. Marketing Update <br /> Mr.Wilfahrt presented his marketing update as outlined in his staff report. <br /> 8.
