OCT 3 201Z
El
By
f ORNERSTONE
Auto
MEMORANDUM
To: Mayor, City Council and Planning Commissioners
From: Stephen Rohif, Cornerstone Auto Resource
Date: October 31, 2012
Subject: Plat Request (The Plat of Jabez), Conditional Use Pennit, and
Variance Request - Cornerstone Auto Resource
This memorandum is meant to supplement the Cornerstone Auto's September 24, 2012 memo.
Some changes have occurred and city staff asked that we clarify some issues.
Exterior Materials
KIA Entrance
KIA has started a"Branding Program"and they have their own entrance and exterior look,
something all franchises are doing. When we originally designed the KIA entrance (south
elevation),they did not have their branding look in place. Since we have already obained KIA's
approval of the original entrance we don't have to modify it,but we have elected to do it so it is
not an issue with them in the future. A colored picture of the KIA branded entrance is included.
It consists of off white architectural metal panels and architectural glass. A floor plan is attached
showing where various materials will be on the exterior of our proposed addition.
Chrysler Entrance
Chrysler's exterior branding consists of gray architectural metal panels with architectural glass
and what they call a Millennium Arch connected entrance. Our architect wrongly labeled this
entrance and the Ford entrance as free standing signage. A colored picture of the Chrysler look
has been provided.
