2002- Historic Context Study <br /> Prepared by Landscape Research, Carole Zeillie <br /> This study reviewed the history of select downtown <br /> commercial properties in the context of historical, architectural <br /> and landscape architecture features and themes. <br /> 23 properties south of 10, north of main street, east of King <br /> Avenue, and west of Jackson were inventoried and evaluated in <br /> these contexts. The study found that none of the properties <br /> appear to be eligible for the National Register, although five <br /> properties along Jackson street, recognized for their local <br /> significance, were recommended for further study.
