Review Downtown Task Force Plan <br /> Mr.Barnhart presented a Powerpoint providing an overview of the Mississippi Connections <br /> Downtown Plan. <br /> He stated that an open house is scheduled for September 13,2012,from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. <br /> and invited the EDA to attend or to provide comments to staff ahead of time if they are <br /> unable to attend. <br /> Commissioner Motin questioned the deadline is to submit written comments.Mr.Barnhart <br /> stated the comment period ends September 24. <br /> Mr.Barnhart indicated the plan is available for review on the front page of the city's website <br /> as well as in paper form at city hall.He added that public comment is a big part of this plan <br /> and urged the public to submit comment. <br /> Mr.Wilfahrt explained that he is working with Mr.Barnhart on promoting the plan. <br /> 6.1. Discuss Use of Department of Trade and Economic Development(DTED) Fund Balance • <br /> Ms.Deckert presented her staff report. <br /> Commissioner Dwyer indicated he would like to see the reporting requirements for the <br /> funds.Commissioner Zerwas concurred.Ms.Deckert indicated that staff will come back <br /> with the reporting requirements. <br /> MOVED BY COMMISSIONER DWYER AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER PROVO FOR A SUBCOMMITTEE CONSISTING OF <br /> COMMISSIONERS DWYER,TVEITE,AND PROVO TO WORK WITH STAFF <br /> TO PUT TOGETHER THE FRAMEWORK ON HOW TO PROCEED WITH <br /> THE USE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND ECONOMIC <br /> DEVELOPMENT FUND BALANCE;FOR THE SUBCOMMITTEE TO <br /> PRESENT THIS FRAMEWORK TO THE EDA FINANCE COMMITTEE;AND <br /> FOR THE EDA FINANCE COMMITTEE TO RECOMMEND GUIDELINES <br /> TO THE EDA BY THE END OF THE YEAR.MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 7.
