Approve $168,804 in professional services from WSB &Associates, Inc.,associated with engineering services for the 2013 Street Improvement Project. 2. Adopt the attached resolution calling for preparation of a Feasibility Report for the 2013 Street Improvement Project. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION As approved at the September 4,2012, Council meeting, staff advertised a Request for Proposal for engineering services for the 2013 Street Improvement project. Proposals were due to our office by the end of the day on October 2, 2012. We received nine proposals which ranged in price from$145,205 to $320,600. These proposals reflect costs between 6.4% and 14.2%of the total estimated construction cost. The breakdown of the proposed not-to-exceed fees for the project were as follows: Bolton&Menk, Inc. $145,205 Hakanson Anderson, Inc $148,450 Loucks Associates $164,700 WSB &Associates, Inc. $168,804 SRF Consulting Group, Inc. $177,146 Foth Infrastructure &Environment,LLC $221,000 MSA Professional Services, Inc. $259,800 Stonebrooke Engineering, Inc. $296,983 TKDA $320,600 Staff reviewed and evaluated the proposals based on the following criteria detailed in the RFP: • Qualifications and experience of proposal candidates; • Proven success in completing similar projects; • Approach to the project and public involvement; • Proposed time frame and schedule; • Total project budget. rifiENEil ® E IrATUREJ
