Commissioners Offerman and Westgaard opposed. <br /> Commissioner Westgaard stated the applicant has been willing to work with the city on <br /> several issues and some consideration for park dedication fees should be given to the <br /> applicant for his existing business. <br /> Commissioner Ropp concurred. <br /> Commissioner Anderson stated the city can't arbitrarily reduce park dedication fees and the <br /> Commission should not be discussing this item. <br /> Commissioner Stevens concurred. <br /> Chair Lemke opened the public hearing on the conditional use permit. <br /> Steve Rohlf,Ford representative-Stated Ford may be changing the order of their phases. <br /> There being no further comments regarding this issue,Chair Lemke dosed the public <br /> hearing. <br /> Commissioner Stevens stated he is sad to see the existing tower being removed. <br /> Commissioner Offerman questioned the lighting standards.He stated auto dealerships tend <br /> to over light their locations at the entrances.He questioned the lights along the entrance. <br /> Mr.Rohlf stated the lights would be low profile decorative lights. <br /> Mr.Harlicker stated the applicant is meeting the lighting requirements. <br /> Commissioner Offerman requested a condition added for lighting at the entrances that shall <br /> meet at minimum semi cut-off classification. <br /> MOVED BY COMMISSIONER OFFERMAN AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER ANDERSON TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ELK RIVER FORD WITH THE <br /> FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. ALL COMMENTS OF THE CITY ENGINEER SHALL BE <br /> ADDRESSED. <br />
