• • • <br /> In addition to review of the Historic Context Study,the Task <br /> Force considered an overview of historically significant properties <br /> as identified by the City's Heritage Preservation Commission and <br /> policy recommendations. It is the consensus of the Task Force <br /> that core downtown area contains much of the history of Elk <br /> River, and serves as the cultural foundation of the community. <br /> While the area may not be deemed historic from a national or <br /> statewide perspective,it is Elk River History,and important in <br /> that respect.
