MEMORANDUM <br /> River <br /> Fire Department <br /> TO: Fire Service Task Force <br /> FROM: T.John Cunningham, Fire Chief <br /> DATE: August IS, 2012 <br /> SUBJECT: Firefighter Representation <br /> One of the items that was brought up during the May 16, 2012, joint meeting with the fire <br /> department was that of communication, specifically that between the Task Force and the <br /> entire department. When the Task Force was created,it was done so with great attention to <br /> making sure that the department, as a whole,is represented. This was done,in part,by years <br /> of service,with Task Force representatives being selected based on their time as an Elk River <br /> firefighter. Attention was also given to making sure there was a ranking officer, an EMT <br /> and a member of the Technical Rescue Team on the Task Force. <br /> Attached is a"Years of Service" summary which includes details on how the fire <br /> department, through the members on the Task Force,is represented. I have also identified <br /> the officers,EMT's and Technical Rescue Team members. <br /> This information may help our Task Force members, as representatives of the department, <br /> reach out to the larger group to share information and to collaborate. <br /> FrOVIIIEll 1 ► <br /> NATURE <br />
