Storm Water <br /> 2013 Goals <br /> • Comply with the new NPDES Permit requirements. <br /> • Inspect 20% of the city's storm drainage system and make any necessary repairs. <br /> • Conduct public education and outreach on the impacts of storm water discharges to <br /> water bodies and steps the public can take to reduce pollutants in storm water <br /> runoff. <br /> • Update the storm sewer map and inventory the existing infrastructure. <br /> • Continue to work with the Building Department to enforce the city's erosion and <br /> sediment control ordinance. <br /> • Continue working with the Sherburne Soil&Water Conservation District to install <br /> Best Management Practices. For example rain gardens and bioretention ponds. <br /> • Utilize volunteers to clean storm ponds and stencil outlets. <br />
