May 29, 2012 <br />The Honorable John Dietz <br />Mayor, City of Elk River <br />13065 Orono Parkway NW <br />Elk River, MN 55330-5600 <br />Dear Mayor Dietz: <br />I am pleased to inform you that the City of Elk River's application for a Greater <br />Minnesota Business Development Public Infrastructure Program grant has been approved <br />in the amount of $250,000. We are pleased to provide this financial assistance to the city <br />for the infirastructure in a new industrial park development. This award will provide the <br />necessary resources for continued economic growth and enhance employment in the <br />community. All parties involved in the preparation of the city's application can be proud <br />of this award. <br />DEED's Business and Community Development staff will provide you with the Grant <br />Agreements and information on the implementation of your funding award and will assist <br />you and your staff in achieving your business and community development goals.
