Business -type activities. Business -type activities decreased the City of ERIC River's net assets by $961,209. Key elements <br />of this decrease are as follows: <br />• Charges for services for business -type activities increased $2,000,000 when compared to 2010, due mainly to an <br />increase in electric usage in the commercial /industrial sector.
