Prior to the meeting, staff received no comments in support or opposition to the request. During the <br />public hearing, no one spoke. After the meeting, three area residents were speaking with the applicant in <br />the lobby and raised a number of concerns, including concern that the project will lower their property <br />values, the apartment building would increase traffic on Twin Lakes Road, and that the apartment <br />building would increase crime. <br />After discussion, staff suggested they forward their concerns in writing for Council information.
