Press Releases <br />We will be sending out press releases announcing the channel and have already begun setting up <br />interviews with the local newspapers. We will be asking Myles as our Commission Chair to be <br />available for these interviews. We would also like to have each commissioner, where appropriate <br />contribute to these interviews when we aze meeting with your local paper. <br />New SWTV Channel 19 Programs <br />We aze also very excited to announce 2 new TV programs that aze in the works for Channel 19. <br />The first is called SWTV Community Spotlight. This program will be a magazine style <br />production and will feature interesting events and people in our communities. Mazk has already <br />begun production and by our next meeting the first program will have begun airing. <br />Our second new TV program will highlight local business. We will be going out into the <br />community to visit our local businesses, see their facilities/products and have them show our <br />viewers, in a short profile, what they do. <br />We will be counting on our commissioners to refer us to a business that you feel would be <br />perfect to highlight in this type of programming. We aze confident that these 2 new programs <br />will be populaz additions to our SWTV program lineup! <br />Community Education Classes <br />1(t)U'fH1ADULT CLASSES <br />LEARN TO USE AUDIQNIDEO EQUIPMENT!., , <br />LIVEII "~ <br />Ages 13+ <br />Class participants will learn how [o use local government audio and video <br />equipment in a remote TV production trailer. This class provides hands-ort experience where <br />panicipan[s will produce remote TV productions which will air on Big Lake Channel 12 and stream <br />on the Internet. Here's a tas-Ce of your clnss outline: <br />• Feb. 10: Welcome, trailer tour, review game, training, camera operation, body pak <br />operntien, tripod use, announcer strop. <br />• Feb. 17: Watch & review lot year's game for production crew mles, pre-game prep of graphics, <br />venue pre-production, equipment review, teao-down and pack-up <br />• Feb. 24: Video Girls Basketball <br />• March 2: Video goys Basketball <br />Class size limited.
