City Equipment Upgrades and Repairs Overview This past quarter we have had the usual assortment of service calls in every city ranging from wiring issues and hard drive failures to Nexus fan replacements and battery backup repair. Here is a brief list of some of the work. 1) We have upgraded monitors in Buffalo and Maple Lake. 2) Added new control room and overflow meeting room equipment in Monticello. 3) Background music has been added to our bulletin board channels in Delano, Buffalo and Dassel. 4) We have replaced DVD recorders in Monticello and Delano. 5) In Buffalo, Watertown and Delano we upgraded their battery backup systems. 6) Repairs and upgrades were done to Sympodium systems in Delano, Elk River and Big Lake. 7) Nexus fan replacements in Maple Lake and Big Lake. 8) Worked on network related issues in Watertown, Delano and Big Lake. 9) Relocated editing equipment in Big Lake. 10) Microphone repairs in Watertown and Monticello. 11) Service calls for channel outages in Buffalo, Watertown, Maple Lake, Elk River and Big Lake. 12) Trailer repairs include work on our camera reels, tripods, camera controllers and replacing a DBX limiter that burned out. 13) Software updates in all cities. 14) New staff training in Monticello. I am currently working on equipment upgrades in Elk River, Monticello, Maple Lake and Cokato. Commission Web Site Quotes We are at the stage where we are ready to take the next step in launching a commission web site. We have done a great deal of planning and design and we want to turn our ideas into substance. We have developed art work and page backgrounds for the web site and Commission Treasurer Mert Auger has set us up with software for updating the site once it is up and running. We searched for a domain name and came up with the name "SWTV.TV". We would like to hire a person to do the initial coding to get us up and rum~ing. We have gone out and met with numerous companies in our range and have narrowed it down to 2 companies that we feel can design the site the way we have planned.
