SHERBURNE COUNTY <br />2012 SCORE Grant Application <br />DIRECTIONS <br />• In order to be determined eligible fora 2012 SCORE Grant through Sherburne County, <br />applicants must complete this application form. <br />• To be considered for funding, you must not be in violation of any Federal, State, or County <br />rules, statutes, or requirements. <br />• Funding consideration of your request will be based on whether or not the project meets <br />the minimum eligibility requirements identified in Part II of this application. <br />• Funding is limited and will be distributed on a competitive basis. The Sherburne County <br />Waste Management Advisory Committee will consider the applications and make funding <br />recommendations to the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners. <br />• Grant funds may not cover expenses that have already been incurred. <br />• Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. <br />APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO 4:30 P.M. A 25% cash match and/or In-Kind Contribution is required. <br />2. The project or program will offer services only within Sherburne County. <br />3. Pursuant to MN § 115A.557, Subd. 2, SCORE Grant monies may be spent solely for the <br />development and implementation of a program to achieve one or more of the following: <br />a) Reduce the amount of solid waste generated; <br />b) Recycle the maximum amount of solid waste technically feasible; <br />c) Create and support markets for recycled products; <br />d) Remove problem materials from the solid waste stream and develop proper <br />disposal options for them; <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
