Elk River YMCA Presentation <br />Molly Hanson, Executive Director of the Elk River YMCA, provided a presentation to the <br />EDA regarding the YMCA's impact on our community, local partnerships, and resident <br />benefits. <br />Discuss Economic Development Strategic Plan <br />Ms. Deckert presented her staff report. <br />Commissioner Westgaard stated this is a good start to the strategic initiatives and he would <br />like to continue working on the initial goals of the visioning process before acting on the <br />supplemental steps. <br />Commissioner Dwyer indicated that it he is pleased that staff is beginning to plan for the <br />next Strategic Plan process. <br />Business Retention and Expansion Visits <br />Mr. Wilfahrt presented his staff report. <br />The EDA agreed with the importance of the visits and consensus was to continue with the <br />visits. <br />8.
