Assistant Position <br />Following is information that should have been included in the staff report for Item 8.5. <br />Proposed staffing adjustments <br />^ Add Aubra at 20 hours (fill vacancy) <br />^ Increase Jackie to 24 hours from 20 hours <br />^ This position is not eligible for insurance benefits <br />^ This position does receive leave benefits <br />^ The position was filled in 2010 and 2011 as a temporary, 20 hours/week <br />position, using money from budgeted salary vacancies (approximately <br />$12,000/year) at the temporary pay rate. <br />Aubra at step A - 7,976.80 <br />Aubra at step B - 8,642.40 <br />Jackie extra hrs - 4,255.68 <br />Total 20,874.88 <br />Total with PERA/FICA (14.9%) _ $23,985.23 <br />Council contingency for positions is $191,550, less the allocation for Recreation <br />Assistant ($23,985.23) leaves a remaining balance of $167,564.77. <br />If approved, a budget amendment to reallocate from Council Contingency to the <br />Recreation Administration budget will be forthcoming. <br />C:\Users\cportner\Desktop\Memo Format for All Boards.docx <br />
