Sanitary Sewer User Fee and the Sewer Access Charge (SAC) <br />These fees were reviewed by Council during the budget review of the Sanitary Sewer Fund <br />on October 11, 2011. The Sanitary Sewer User fee is proposed to increase by 1.5% and the <br />Sewer Access Charge is proposed to increase by 2%. <br />Water Access Charge <br />This fee was approved by the Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission on October 11, <br />2011. It increased by 2% to be consistent with the city's SAC rate. <br />Development Fees <br />Planning Manager Jeremy Barnhart analyzed development fees and has made various <br />changes as explained in his attached memo. <br />Escrow for Dangerous Dog Hearing <br />This fee was increased in order to capture actual costs. <br />Parking Fines <br />Fees have been in place but haven't been listed in the previous fee schedule. These fees are <br />required to be listed per city ordinance. Some of the fees have changed because they were <br />listed incorrectly in the last fee schedule. The winter parking fee was reduced to match the <br />other parking violation fees. The prosecuting attorney has reviewed these fees with the <br />judges, who have approved them. <br />The Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission approved their fees on October 11, 201.1.
