MINUTES OF THE ELK RIVER <br />ENERGY CITY COMMISSION <br />HELD AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />ELK RIVER, MN <br />WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2011 <br />Members Present: Bruce Sayler, John Setala, Stephen Rohlf, Tim Steinbeck, and Dennis Chuba <br />Members Absent: Scott Hagen, Susie Overholser, Ron Touchette, and Vance Zehringer <br />Staff Present: Rebecca Haug, Environmental Administrator <br />Ross Pomeroy, GreenCorps, City of Elk River <br />Nicki Blake-Bradley, Environmental Technician <br />Others Present: Ryan Setterholm, Center Point Energy <br />Tim Rybak, Elk River School District 728 <br />Call Meeting to Order <br />Vice- Chair Setala called the meeting to order at 1:55 p.m. once a quorum was reached. <br />Consider February 16, 2011 ECC Agenda <br />The following items were removed from the agenda: <br />#5 Energy Expo Update <br />MOTION TO REMOVE ITEM #5 FROM THE MEETING AGENDA BY COMMISSIONER <br />SAYLER AND SECOND BY COMMISSIONER CHUBA. ALL IN FAVOR. MOTION CARRIED. <br />3. Consider December 15. 2010 Minutes <br />MOTION TO APPROVE THE DECEMBER 15, 2010 MINUTES BY COMMSSIONER STEINBECK <br />AND SECOND BY COMMISSIONER SAYLER WITH NO CHANGES. ALL IN FAVOR. MOTION <br />CARRIED. <br />4. Election of Officers <br />Currently, the Chair of the Commission is Vance Zehringer and the Vice-Chair is John Setala. <br />Commissioner Rohlf questioned whether Chair Zehringer is willing to continue as chair. Ms. Haug <br />stated that Chair Zehringer will do it if elected. <br />MOTION BY COMMISSIONER ROHLF AND SECOND BY COMMISSIONER CHUBA TO <br />NOMINATE CHAIR ZEHRINGER AND VICE-CHAIR SETALA FOR ANOTHER TERM IN THEIR <br />RESPECTIVE POSITIONS. ALL IN FAVOR. MOTION CARRIED. <br />6. Phase II Project Conserve Update <br />Mr. Pomeroy informed the commission that energy audits are almost complete. They have <br />conducted nearly 100. It has been a vast success, with inspectors having learned a lot. There has <br />been an amazing response from the residents. They will do a survey at the next meeting which <br />
