This <br /> position involves: <br />· Construction, project management, community development, administrative <br /> duties, financial duties, functions, and overall supervision of Mille Lacs <br /> Band government staff. <br />· Representing the Mille Lacs Band and the Chief Executive Officer at various <br /> meetings with local, state, and national agencies: forming partnerships to <br /> better serve the Mille Lacs Band and other residents in the affected areas. <br />· Sitting on the Administration Policy Board; Chairing in the absence of the <br /> Commissioner of Administration. Overseeing policies and direction of <br /> leadership of the Mille Lacs Band government. <br />· Development and administration of policies for each department/program <br /> within the Mille Lacs Band. <br />· Reviewing each department/program and making recommendations on <br /> changes to make programs more efficient. <br />· Overseeing the Public Works Commission and Middle-Management <br /> meetings; making recommendations on any changes/policies being looked at. <br />· Representing the Administration Policy Board at District Meetings, updating <br /> Band Members on all government functions. <br />· Providing communication to various area agencies, i.e. Indian Health <br /> Services, Bureau of Indian Affairs, etc., for planning and compliance <br /> <br />purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
