Preliminary and Final Plat Approval for Plat of Jabez, <br />Case No. P 11-01- Public Heari <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />Open and continue the two public hearings to December 19, 2011. <br />BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION <br />Cornerstone is requesting prelitniuiary/ final plat and a conditional use permit for the expansion of the <br />existing car dealership. The conditional use permit and platting documents expired in 2010. <br />During staff and Planning Commission review, it became apparent that the applicant desired variances <br />from applicable ordinances, including signage and building materials. The applicant is evaluating options <br />between applying for a variance or rezoning the property as a planned unit development. Staff will work <br />with the applicant through that process. <br />The chosen direction will be discussed by the Planning Commission and City Council in December..
