Elk River `~
~~
13065 Orono Parkway Q~+
Elk River. Mn. 55330
Deaz Sir or Madam
I am writing this letter as a council member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.
Through public records at Sherburne County Assessors office, We found that the
Economic Dev. Auth. owns the land that is directly to our church's east side.
Recent discussions at our council meetings about our Church's exposure to the
public have prompted us to explore all possible options. Though we are trying
other outreach methods, we also believe that seeing the church from County Road
1 is also vital to our exposure. This leads me to you. The city of Elk River told us
that we could not put an entrance to our building off of Cty Rd 1, for traffic safety
reasons. We have looked at a plat drawing and you own a large area next to us,
we would like to talk about a possible buy out or a land swap of a small section
of what you own. On the aerial map I have on pazcel #75-129-4100, there is a
small piece of land that we would be interested in, it is the northern triangle shape.
We would be interested in a purchase or a swap of the land that we own. Per the
aerial map, access to your land is only possible from the south, assuming the City
would not let you put an entrance off of Cty Rd 1 also, If you would contact me
by phone or e-mail I would greatly appreciate it.
