Telecommunication operations <br /> <br />ii. <br /> <br />Permitted uses allowed when the underlying land use is highway <br />business: <br /> 1. Health athletic clubs <br /> 2. Personal service establishments <br /> 3. Financial institutions <br /> <br />Conditional Uses <br /> <br />Conditional uses allowed when the underlying land use is light <br />industrial: <br /> 1. Any permitted use which involves more than 30 % warehouse <br /> space <br /> 2. Vocational, technical, and trade schools <br /> 3. Multiple buildings on a lot <br /> 4. Multiple tenant buildings <br /> 5. Above ground storage tanks <br /> <br />ii. <br /> <br />Conditional uses allowed when the underlying land use is highway <br />business: <br /> 1. Hotels and motels <br /> 2. Licensed daycare facilities <br /> 3. Retail shops and stores which compliment and serve the <br /> Business Park subject to the standards set forth in 2(j) below <br /> 4. Motor vehicle specialty service stations <br /> 5. Multiple buildings on a lot <br /> 6. Multiple tenant buildings <br /> 7. Restaurants (Class I) <br /> <br />The Statement of Purpose could also be amended to better reflect the <br />original intent of the Business Park district. The following is a revised <br />Statement of Purpose the accomplishes that: <br /> <br />The Business Park district is established to encourage a planned, <br />integrated environment for certain industrial, office and commercial <br />uses which are compatible with and compliment each other as well as <br />the surrounding land uses. The underlying land use designation will <br />guide the type of uses allowed within the district. The underlying land <br />use designation within the district may vary, either light industrial or <br /> <br />\\elkriver\sys\shrdoc\planning\scott\oa9712cc.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
