Proposal: Strategic Industrial Marketing Plan Update On behalf of the entire Wolff MnRtcer'1N~ & MEDIA team, thank you for the opportunity to submit a proposal to work with The City of Elk River Economic Development Authority and its Economic Development Division to update the City's Strategic Industrial Marketing Plan. We are particularly excited about the prospect of tackling this project because we have already been working successfully with City's Economic Development Division for more than two years on a range of marketing and communications assignments, including: ^ Direct Mail (News from the Hub newsletter, special events marketing, holiday cards, etc.) ^ Public Relations (writing of news releases, media relations) ^ Events (Minnesota Manufacturing and Technology Week Luncheon) ^ Advertising (advertising and media strategy consulting, designing and placing the Manufacturing Week thank you ad) ^ Copywriting (writing of project case studies) ^ Marketing Consulting (ongoing consulting a range of marketing issues as required) These many projects have given us the opportunity to obtain a thorough understanding of the City and its current Economic Development Objectives and Strategies, while developing excellent working relationships with City Staff. Although we would never presume to take primary credit for the many economic development successes Elk River has enjoyed during the past two years, we would like to think that the many marketing and communications projects we have worked on for the City contributed to those accomplishments. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to have worked with the City of Elk River in the past, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue to support your economic development marketing efforts in the future. The next section of this proposal consists of a point-by-point response to the seven questions posed in your April 21 Request for Proposals (RFP).
