The profile is also available on the City's Website. <br />VI. Strategic Partnership Strategy <br />Energy City <br />In January, the Energy City Commission (ECC) received three proposals fox the redesign of <br />the Energy City Website and made the decision to work with Jody Russell of Thunder <br />Communications. The ECUs goal fox completion of the site redesign is mid-June. <br />Downtown Revitalization Project <br />Watch fox the next Q & A Newsletter in the May 17`h edition of the Elk River Stax News, <br />which will answer many of the community's recent questions about the project. Below is a <br />project timeline, including other projects occurring downtown this summer: <br />The Bluffs of Elk I~'ver Construction ...............Spring 2006 through Sumtnex 2007 <br />]ackron Place Construction ..........................Summer 2006 through Fall 2007 <br />The Bank of Elk River expansion project........Spxing 2006 through Spring 2007 <br />Rivers Edge Commons Paxk constmction.......Summex 2006 through Fall 2006 <br />The City Council approved changes to the downtown traffic flow plan on May 1", which <br />included a xe-route of a portion of Main Street to last from early May to early August. In <br />addition, the HRA approved a downtown business marketing plan, which will include weekly <br />ads in the Elk River Stars News for the three-month xe-route period, signage and other <br />marketing efforts to help promote that downtown is open fox business during constmction. <br />Sherburne County Economic Development <br />Staff continues to attend monthly Sherburne County Economic Development Alliance <br />(SCEDA) meetings. <br />VII. Business Retention Strategy <br />Staff will contact EDA commissioners individually to schedule future BRE visits. <br />
