Alighting plan will need to be provided showing that a level of 1.5 footcandles is maintained. 2. A landscape plan will need to be approved by staff. 3. A sign permit will be required for all exterior signage. PLANNING COMMISSION The Planning Commission reviewed this request at their August 9, 2011 meeting. The items discussed were landscaping/buffers, composting/impervious surfaces, LEED, and building design/signage. They wanted to know if the landscaping would meet or exceed the ordinance requirements. Staff said it would meet the requirements. Buffering between the ball field and drop off/yard site was discussed. A commissioner asked if bituminous would go all the way back to the compost area and it was clarified that most of the area was already bituminous. LEED certification was discussed and if the building would be certified. Staff indicated that they will be using some of the LEED practices and principles, but the building would not be certified. No one spoke at the public hearing. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the request with the conditions listed.
