ity of <br /> <br />iver <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Item # 6.1~-. <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Steve Ach, City Planner~t~, <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />October 20, 1997 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Easement Vacation Request by <br /> Beaudry Oil, Case No. EV 97-4 <br /> <br />Last Tuesday, Bruce West and I met with Ken Beaudry to discuss his <br />easement vacation request, as well as some of the other fire code issues <br />relating to the Beaudry Oil petroleum facility. Based on our meeting, Mr. <br />Beaudry will performing the following: <br /> <br />Remove the above ground storage tanks out of the Quinn Avenue right of <br />way to another location on his property. These above ground storage <br />tanks will not be filled with any product until the appropriate permits are <br />obtained. <br /> <br />Continue to work with Bruce West on compliance with other fire code <br />related issues (see Bruce West's memo). <br /> <br />Upon obtaining ownership of the former railroad spur, Mr. Beaudry will <br />apply for a conditional use permit to install the above ground storage <br />tanks on his property. <br /> <br />· The only use of Quinn Avenue will be for parking purposes by Beaudry Oil <br /> employees. <br /> <br />Based on these action steps, Mr. Beaudry has requested to withdraw his <br />application to vacate a portion of Quinn Avenue.
