45 acres destination retail; 20 acres temporary <br />destination retail; 8 acres transit center; 3 acres <br />service/commercial; 5 acres open space; 10 acres <br />highway right-of-way (results in 1,123,848 square feet of <br />commercial and 1,768,536 square feet of industrial <br />uses) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River deems an Alternative Urban <br />Areawide Review (AUAR), provided for in the Minnesota Environmental <br />Review Program, to be the most appropriate form of environmental review for <br />the 171St Avenue study area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, ELK RIVER, MN: <br />That the City of Elk River orders the preparation of an Alternative Urban <br />Areawide Review (AUAR) for the proposed 171St Avenue study area. <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Efk River on the 1St day of <br />August 2011, by a vote of Ayes and Nays. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />CITY CLERK <br />
