IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,731.40 FOR WORK COMPLETED ON THE HIGHWAY 10/PROCTOR INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS -. APPROVED COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. Utilities Commission Update Councilmember Dietz updated the City Council on agenda items that will be discussed at the October 21 Utilities Commission Meeting. Community Recreation Board Update Jeff Asfahl, Community Recreation Director, updated the Council on recent Community Recreation activities. Consider Ordinance Adopting Official map City Administrator Pat Klaers informed the Council that on October 6, the City Council adopted a resolution directing staff to prepare an ordinance which officially maps a new street alignment between County Road 13 and 171st Avenue. The City Administrator distributed the ordinance for council review and City Attorney Peter Beck read the ordinance and officially entered the ordinance into the record. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 97-20 ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL MAP OF PROPOSED STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF ELK RIVER. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. City Enqineer Update City Engineer Terry Maurer updated the Council on the status of various public and private construction projects taking place in the city.
