THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />Utilities Commission Update <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz updated the City Council on agenda items that will be <br />discussed at the October 21 Utilities Commission Meeting. <br /> <br />Community Recreation Board Update <br /> <br />Jeff Asfahl, Community Recreation Director, updated the Council on recent <br />Community Recreation activities. <br /> <br />Consider Ordinance Adopting Official map <br /> <br />City Administrator Pat Klaers informed the Council that on October 6, the City <br />Council adopted a resolution directing staff to prepare an ordinance which <br />officially maps a new street alignment between County Road 13 and 171st <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />The City Administrator distributed the ordinance for council review and City <br />Attorney Peter Beck read the ordinance and officially entered the ordinance into <br />the record. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 97-20 ADOPTING AN <br />OFFICIAL MAP OF PROPOSED STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF ELK RIVER. <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />City Enqineer Update <br /> <br />City Engineer Terry Maurer updated the Council on the status of various public <br />and private construction projects taking place in the city. <br /> <br /> <br />
