My name is Bill Helliwell and I have the wonderful opportunity to be the Chair of the <br />NorthStar YMCA Community Board. On behalf of the board, I am writing to you, our past <br />supporters, volunteers, and participants to update you on past events and accomplishments of the last <br />year. <br />Enclosed is an update of our progress in bringing the YMCA to the Elk River Area and surrounding <br />communities. As you are probably aware the YMCA is more than a facility; it is about building a <br />strong community. Last year, many of you receiving this update helped us and that has been greatly <br />appreciated. <br />We plan to continue to bring many program opportunities in the coming year, while developing and <br />implementing a plan to build a facility. You are all important in this effort. Please let me know if <br />you would be interested in participating in any of our endeavors. <br />Thank you for your participation so far and we look forward to your continued support.
