RESOLUTION I I - <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ELK RIVER TO ENTER <br />INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL <br />AGENCY FOR THE GRANT ASSOCIATED WITH THE BENEFICIAL <br />REUSE OF WASTEWATER EFFLUENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River has applied for a grant from the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) under the Grant to Plan, Design, and Construct <br />Wastewater Facilities Improvements for the Beneficial Use of Wastewater Request for <br />Proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River is committed to implementing the proposed <br />Project as described in the final Grant Application; and, <br />WHEREAS, the MPCA requires that the Ciry of Elk River enter into a Grant <br />Contract with MPCA that identifies the Terms and Conditions of the funding award. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ciry Council of the Ciry of <br />Elk River hereby agrees to enter into a Grant Contract and sign a Grant Contract with the <br />MPCA to carry out the Project specified therein and to comply with all of the Terms, <br />Conditions, and Budget of the Grant Contract and authorizes and directs the city engineer to <br />sign the Grant Contract on its behalf. <br />Passed and adopted by the Ciry Council of the City of Elk River this 9`" day of May, 2011. <br />John J.
