(MMUA) Legislative Conference in St. Paul will be <br />March 3Ud' -April 1S`. We are budgeted for one Commissioner and one Staff member to attend. <br />On February 22nd, Utilities Commission Chair John Dietz and I testified before the State House Health <br />and Human Services Committee in opposition of HF135. The HF135 (and sister SF64 in the State <br />Senate) propose to amend State Statute to remove a cities authority to regulate private wells within a <br />city's corporate boundary. House File 135 passed on a party line vote 12-6 to be passed on to the next <br />committee for review. <br />Enclosed for your reading is the current MMUA Capitol Tattler. <br />~i <br />
