City of Elk River <br />AETProposal No. 26-00324 <br />March 13, 2009 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />Fees <br />The scope of work defined in this proposal will invoiced as a lump sum fee. To complete the <br />scope of services previously described, we will invoice you a fee of $4,950.00. In the event the <br />scope of our work needs to be revised due to unanticipated conditions or for proper evaluation, <br />we will review such adjustments and the associated fees with you and receive your approval <br />before proceeding. Additional drilling will be invoiced at a unit rate of $20.00 per linear foot of <br />drilling. <br />Schedule <br />Weather permitting; we anticipate drilling operations can begin about 12 to 15 working days <br />after receiving authorization to proceed. Actual field work should be completed in one working <br />day. Verbal results of the drilling activities can be obtained shortly after completion of the <br />drilling. We anticipate the geotechnical report can be prepared about one and one half to two <br />weeks after completion of the field work. We are available to review special schedule needs with <br />you. <br />Terms <br />Our services will be performed per the two-page "Service Agreement," and the one-page <br />"Subsurface Boring Supplement." Copies of each aze attached. <br />Acceptance <br />To formally authorize our services and indicate your acceptance of this proposal, please endorse <br />it and return it to us. <br />By authorizing this proposal, AET is of the understanding that the current property owner <br />is aware that AET will be performing this work, and has also authorized our firm to <br />operate our equipment on the property. <br />
