This proposal is being submitted <br />as requested by you in your February 25, 2011 email. This letter defines our scope of services, a <br />lump sum fee, our anticipated schedule and other information regarding our services. <br />Purpose of Study <br />The purpose of our services is to explore the subsurface conditions at the site, and based on our <br />characterization of the obtained data, to prepare a geotechnical engineering report presenting <br />comments and recommendations to assist you and your project team in planning and <br />construction. <br />Proiect Information <br />We understand the proposed construction will include a new public works facility. Final <br />construction details are not know at this time, however it is anticipated the structure will be <br />primarily constructed with precast concrete walls with a meta! deck roof and steel joists. We are <br />assuming the finished floor elevation will be within two feet of the existing grades. <br />$coae <br />Field Work <br />You have requested the following subsurface investigation program: <br />• Pertorm ten (10) standard penetration test borings (ASTM:D1586): to a depth of l5 feet in <br />throughout the site, 6 in the proposed footprint of the new building, 3 in the pavement <br />areas and 1 in the proposed footprint of an outbuilding. <br />• Arrange clearance of underground public utilities through Gopher State One-Call. <br />• .
