Call Meeting To Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Park and Recreation <br />Cpnmiission was called to order at 7:03 p.m by Chair Peterson. <br />2. Consider Tanuary 8, 2003 Park & Recreation Commission Agenda <br />COMMISSIONER KUESTER MOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 8, 2003 <br />PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION AGENDA. COMMISSIONER <br />ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br />Consider Minutes of November 13, 2002 Park & Recreation Conunission Meeting <br />COMMISSIONER POLSTON-HORK MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br />NOVEMBER 13, 2002 PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION MINUTES. <br />COMMISSIONER NYSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 6-0. <br />4. Park & Recreation Conunissioner to Attend Tanuary Planning Commission and City Council <br />Meetings <br />a. January 21, 2003 Gty Council Meeting <br />No representation is required at the January 21, 2003 Gty Council meeting. <br />b. January 28, 2003 Planning Csrmmission Meeting <br />Cormnissioner Kuester will attend the January 28, 2003 Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br />5. en Mike <br />Kathy Straus, 11204 195 Ave NW, presented the Commission with a petition signed by <br />over 50 people stating that they would like the Iirghlands East Park (formerlyFlillside 5~h) <br />developed. They would like the park to be completed in the spring or summer of 2003. <br />Ckrair Peterson stated that previously when plans to develop the park were presented, <br />residents came forward with a petition for the Commission to not develop the park.
