Appendix B <br />~.. <br />Some of the Procedural Statutes Governing Some Small Local <br />THe rxoceoutGU. MoTroNS permitted under these rules are set out in full in Rule 16(b). Under that rule all <br />"° procedural motions aze debatable and none require a second. All may be amended, subject to the stated <br />limitations on motions to amend (Rule 16(b), Motion 13]. Except where indicated otherwise, procedural <br />motions may interrupt deliberations on a pending substantive matter. <br />The required vote for adoption of a procedural motion is generally a majority of the votes cast, a <br />quomm being present. In a few cases, the required number of votes is the same number as is required for a <br />quomm. Thus, for example, if a quorum of a board is four, the number of votes required to adopt the <br />motion is four. <br />Vote <br />Motion Required Special Requirements <br />1.
