Regular meeting of the Elk River Utilities Commission <br />June 4, 1997 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />5.3 Up-date on Electric Distribution Proiects <br /> <br /> Glenn Sundeen reported to the Commission on the progress and status of construction <br /> projects currently underway. Discussion followed. <br /> <br />5.4 Meadowvale School Water Well Up-date <br /> <br />Bryan Adams advised the Commission that he and Superintendent Flannery <br />have agreed on the price of $21,000.00, which is the appraised value, for sale of <br />property to the ERMU for the new well, treatment plant and possible water tower. <br />The School Board has requested that when a tower is constructed, it be <br />placed on the East side of the property. A formal agreement will be presented at the <br />July Commission meeting. <br /> <br />5.5 Review and Consider Pay Equity_ Study. <br /> <br />The final report from Hay Management Consultants was presented and discussed. <br />Bryan Adams was directed to summarize all the information presented and <br />recommend an option to satisfy the requirement of Pay Equity. Recommendations <br />will be presented at a future Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Zabee moved to receive and file the report. Mr. Tralle seconded the motion. <br />Motion carded 3-0. <br /> <br />6.1 Heritage Festival Request <br /> <br />The Committee for the Heritage Festival, to be held August 9-10, 1997, has requested <br />the Utilities to provide temporary electrical service, the hanging of banners and <br />water use provisions for the two day Festival. <br /> <br />Mr. Zabee moved to provide temporary electrical service, the hanging of banners and <br />water use provisions for the two day Festival. Mr. Tralle seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br /> <br />
